In 1987, I hopped on a plane in Atlanta and moved to New York City. I took the bus from the airport into Manhattan and checked into the YMCA. There, I sat down on the rickety bed and thought to myself “What the fuck have I done??!!??” —–Well, I’ll tell you what Ive done.

I graduated from the Neighborhood Playhouse where I studied acting under the tutelage of Sanford Meisner, appeared in numerous plays Off Broadway, Off-Off Broadway and nowhere near Broadway (Almost got on Broadway twice, but..oh well..sigh).

Did commercials/TV/film work….worked for 2 decades as a marionette puppeteer in Central Park, lots of odd jobs, including an assistant to a mortuary cosmetologist and waited on enough tables to last for 3 lifetimes.

AND…..somehow, I’m still here!!!!!
